Atelier George x Fabien Barrero+Carsenat

A second collaboration with Fabien, which we experienced as the continuation of a conversation.

We discovered the bronze rotunda in our workshop and sketched shapes around and then within it, with our gestures and our breath.
The result is a second opus of this archaeology of the future, whose structure once again contains a sort of sacred preciousness.

With Temple, we spoke of ruins, of the sacred, and of the sanctification of ruins as well.
With Abside, we first invoked architecture, and then we asked ourselves how walls, columns, and arches could form a setting.

Crown of arches in solid bronze. Amber glass blown into the very structure. Insert of colorless blown glass containing a dense amber ribbed glass sphere.
